How do I reserve a bounce house unit?

Simply go through our catalog and select the items you want to reserve. Our shopping cart / reservation system will add everything up for you. When you’re ready to check out simply go to your cart and go through the process of checking out. Nothing will be billed to your credit card. This is simply a products reservation system. How far in advance should I make my reservation?

You should make your reservations as early as possible. Our units are very popular and sometimes we are booked up weeks in advance. Weekends are our most popular rental days so book them early. If you have any concerns before reserving, please call us at (904) 386-6229 so we can help you.

 

Is sales tax included in the price?

No, we charge a flat sales tax rate of 7%.

 

Is there a minimum rental required?

Yes, due to the rising fuel costs we require either an inflatable rental or a minimum $175 order of fun foods, carnival games, or tables and chairs without an inflatable.

 

How much room is needed for a bounce house or slide?

You will need to provide a level area of about 20′ x 20′ with an overhead clearance of 15′ for our units. Slides will require a space of 20′ x 40′ with an overhead clearance of 20.’ An Obstacle Course will require a space of 20′ x 85′ with an overhead clearance of 20.’

Can you set up on any surface?

Yes, our units can be set up on grass, concrete or even indoors. Please note the area must be free of rocks, sticks and other sharp objects. Please let us know what surface you would like the unit set up on when booking, this way we can have the proper anchors available. Setup charge will apply for large units being setup on hard surfaces.

 

Do you deliver and set up the bounce houses?

Yes. We deliver, set up, and sanitize all bounce house units before your party starts. We also ensure that the units are in good working condition as we test the units for safety after set up.

 

Will you supply an attendant for my event?

NO, we do not supply attendants. We will provide instruction to your supervising adults.

 

Can I pick the time that you deliver and pick-up the bounce house?

You decide on the specific rental time and we’ll be there anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours before that for set up. You do not pay for set-up time. Rentals are for jumping time only. We pick-up the unit after the party is over, but please allow up to 3 hours for pick-up. If an exact time is needed, please let us know and we will work with you.

 

Will I have to pay a delivery charge?

We deliver all of Duval (Jacksonville FL), northern Clay county, and St Augustine FL areas free at this time.

What kind of power is required?

All units must be within 80 feet of a dedicated 15 amp electrical outlet.

 

What if I need a generator?

We have a generator available when needed. This includes a FULL TANK of Gasoline. Run Time on Full Tank is about 5 Hours.

 

Are your units safe?

Yes, providing all the rules outlined on the operating procedures page of your rental contract are followed. Furthermore, all of our units come equipped with a safety entrance/exit ramp.

 

How long does it take to set up the bounce house?

It takes about 20-30 minutes to set up the unit and review the safety guidelines with you.

 

What are my responsibilities as the renter of the bounce house?

A responsible adult must be assigned to supervise the children while the unit is in use. We will review safety guidelines with you on delivery. The adult must know all the safety rules and also be the enforcer of these rules. The renter is responsible for the safety of the children and the care of the equipment. Cleaning Charge will be incurred if Silly String has been used during the rental.

 

What if it is rainy or windy?

Parties N Motion reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to heavy rains or high winds (over 20 mph). There is no penalty to the renter. We will call on the morning of your party to confirm the reservation. At that time you have the option of canceling your order. Should you decide to proceed with your order in such weather conditions, once the unit is delivered, there will be NO refunds should the weather conditions consist of heavy rains or high winds.

 

Does Parties N Motion have insurance?

YES! Parties N Motion is fully licensed and insured in the state of Florida. We can issue a Certificate of Insurance for Special Events. Please ask us for proof of insurance or for further detail on our insurance.

 

When is payment due?

Payment is due in full upon delivery, using a credit card or cash.
